Let me briefly introduce myself, my name is Claire and I’m a Secondary Teaching student at the University of Victoria. I’m fairly new to the teaching world but I am absolutely loving the program and can’t wait to start my teaching career in the nearish future.
Before starting the teaching program this Fall, I was busy finishing my undergraduate degree in Gender Studies and being actively involved in the climbing scene here on the West Coast. Needless to say, Im pretty passionate about social justice (social constructs, analyzing systems of power and queer theory are my academic jam) and all things rock climbing (coaching, route-setting, guiding, indoors, outdoors, small rocks, really really big rocks. I love it all).
This site is a space where I will be posting some of the tid bits I have learned about integrating technology in the classroom and documenting the progression of my inquiry project.

As someone who also has limited experience with video editing, this post is super helpful. I have a ipad and haven’t yet played around with I movie, but your review of it is a great starting off point.
I appreciate the open sourced/ free software you’ve added in at the end. It is always a good habit to look into other programs that are more accessible for everyone.
I wonder if maybe you would want to add some visuals, or even a little video you edited to help elevate this post?

Great job, Claire and Mike! I liked how you and your partner chose a specific digital storytelling platform to look at. It made it easy to follow and made the pros and cons clear.

I liked your topic, and I also enjoyed the clear and concise way you expressed your interest in it, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of digital storytelling.
Of course, it will be better once you have the post completed with embedded videos and working links.
Organizationally speaking, the layout is fairly easy to follow but could be made more appealing with non-text visuals of some kind.

It was super interesting to hear all you can do with scratch storytelling! I haven’t heard of this tech before and it was great to see the considerations you and Micheal had for this tech.
I wonder if you could have done the pros/cons in an infographic? I think that would have made a punch.
